MEMBERSHIP SALES ADVISOR
The Sales Advisor is responsible for attainment of club membership sales quotas in a manner that builds rapport and fosters new member retention. The position involves both inside and outside prospecting activities including, but not limited to: self generation of new membership leads, networking in the community, booking and confirming appointments by phone, text or internet, conducting club tours, presenting rates, asking for the sale, obtaining referrals, building trust, handling customer concerns as well as follow up with prospects that did not become a member.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for selling club memberships
Prospect new business and clients
Host events and workshops for in-club lead generation
Achieve or exceed individual sales goals and ancillary service goals
Build lasting relationships with prospects and current members for retention and referrals
Internal, first hand knowledge of the club's services, amenities, facilities and sales trends
Stay abreast of trends by "shopping" competitors and comparing facilities
Conduct pre-planning activities each month including strategic outreach, for securing member referrals
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous sales experience preferred
Confidence to perform on an incentive based pay
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
Personal passion for health and fitness
Enjoy working within a team
Strong time management skills and practices
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Base pay along with sales commission opportunities for:
New membership sales (no cap)
Ancillary sales (Spa, Personal Training, Pilates)
