JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Fitness Manager to join our Brookline GymIt team. A Fitness Manager with GymIt is responsible for leading a team of 10 trainers in hitting monthly and quarterly sales goals. The role requires a strong work ethic, sales experience, and an ability to manage trainers of different levels.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support and encourage members to meet their health and fitness goals

Sell personal training packages, build clientele, and deliver personal training sessions to members

Administer fitness assessments, fitness evaluations, and complimentary sessions as needed.

Be a resource for members on all club services, and respond to any fitness related inquiries in a timely manner

Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe facility for our members

Design safe and effective exercise prescription for a variety of clientele

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

College Degree in a fitness related field preferred but not required.

Experience in the health and fitness industry preferred but not required.

Nationally accredited personal training certification is required within 30 days of hire (i.e. ACSM, NASM, NSCA, CSCS, ACE, etc).

Current CPR/AED/First Aid Certifications within 30 days of hire.

Must be highly motivated, energetic, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of building personal training clientele

Flexible availability- Mornings, Evenings, and/or Weekends.

Enthusiasm and passion for the fitness industry!

COMPENSATION:

Salaried Position based on experience

Private training - $25/hr to $45/hr (based on type of session rendered)
