ABOUT HEALTHY GAMER

If you grew up on the Internet like us, you know mental health is more important than ever. But many people face obstacles when seeking traditional mental health care, like finding the right support or having the right insurance.

At Healthy Gamer, we think modern mental health care should be inclusive and affordable. Our coaching service has helped over 13,000 people across 77 countries since it launched in November 2019. Our movement is gaining traction, putting us in the top 0.1% of Twitch streamers and the top 1% of YouTube channels. And we're working on even more resources to help people find a way forward when they need it.

We've made an impact in the gaming community, but that's not where our mission ends. We want to change how people think about and deal with mental health, and we're looking for passionate people to help us get there.

SUMMARY

We are looking for a talented Video Editor to help Healthy Gamer generate YouTube and Shorts content from streams and expand our content offerings to additional platforms and formats over time. 

TERM

Contract hourly, 10-20 hours a week

Paid per-video rates, with separate rates for YouTube and YouTube Shorts

SCOPE OF WORK

• Cut long-form content from weekly streams for posting on Youtube
• Add engaging, professional-grade graphics and animations for clarity
• Graphics and animations will be the top consideration for this role
• Cut short-form content (30 seconds or less) from marquee video content and streams to be posted on IG Stories/Posts, TikTok, and Twitter
• Suggest content ideas for short term content
• Report to and work with the Healthy Gamer content + marketing teams on video performance

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year of experience in editing video content for a client
• Editing reel MUST be submitted for your application to be considered!
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong remote work communication skills
• Results-driven editing for YouTube 
• Familiarity with Google docs and sheets

This is an Independent Contractor role paid on an hourly rate provided and no benefits will be available.
