DESCRIPTION

CHT owned practice seeking an Occupational Therapist/CHT. This practice is a dynamic out-patient facility recognized for outstanding hand therapy rehab, with successful outcomes and patient satisfaction. We have been meeting our patients needs for 7 years. Our team is comprised of dedicated and passionate occupational therapists and Certified Hand Therapists. This practice has two locations one in Mililani and one in Kailua.  We are looking for both part-time and full-time positions.  

We specialize in helping those who suffer hand injuries of any kind. From fractures of the hand, wrist, forearm, elbow and shoulder, to ligament injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, rotator cuff injuries, tendon repairs, and more.

The specially trained certified hand therapists at Healthy Hands Hawaii fabricate custom splints, provide patient-specific exercise programs, scar management, and edema reduction techniques, and daily living training.

REQUIREMENTS

• A therapist with 1-2 years hand therapy experience and on a CHT track
• Graduate of an Accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills
• Written and verbal communication skills 
• Evaluate and manage a variety of hand and upper extremity conditions
• Custom orthosis fabrication skills
