    Child Assessment Post doctoral Fellow Healthy Mind Sacramento is a private practice in Sacramento dedicated to serving children, teens, and young adults through comprehensive evaluations (ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, full neuropsychological) as well as evidence-based treatments (e.g., executive function/ ADHD coaching, CBT for anxiety). Our goal is to help families find a path forward in challenging situations. We honor neurodiversity and the unique strengths of each individual. We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow in child assessment. You will conduct autism, ADHD, neuropsychological, and learning disability assessments. Healthy Mind Sacramento offers excellent pay, complete admin support so you can focus on clients, and mentorship by Dr. Kimberly Miller (neuropsychologist). The position start date is flexible in summer/ fall 2022. Opportunity to provide therapy and executive function/ ADHD coaching as well if this is of interest to you! This position is flexible to create a position based on your interests. You will be mentored by a neuropsychologist with 13 years of experience who loves teaching and supervising! Responsibilities: • Complete a minimum of at least 2 full evaluations per week • Conduct intakes with clients or parents via Zoom to understand presenting problems/ concerns • Conduct in-office assessments (1-2 half-day sessions) with kids, teens, and young adults with presenting issues of psychological disorders, ADHD, autism, medical complexities, and learning disabilities • Interpret and analyze data from the assessment, then integrate into a comprehensive, readable report in a timely manner • Provide feedback sessions to family members succinctly explaining the results and presenting implementable recommendations • Participate in training and supervision as needed to maintain an excellent standard of client care Optional: provide psychotherapy to individuals with ADHD, autism, depression, and anxiety Qualifications: • PhD, EdD or PsyD degree • Training in child psychology • Prior experience in assessment • Prior experience with ADOS-2 preferred but not required! Please specify ADOS-2 training in your cover letter • Ability to integrate data/results into a report that is readable by the general public • Self-starter who takes initiative • Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 yearly
