This is an opportunity to work in a private practice environment with a high level of independence. LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or psychologist license needed. We are currently hiring for a part-time or full-time licensed therapist to provide one-on-one therapy to kids, teens, and adults with ADHD, autism, anxiety, and mood issues. Experience in CBT and behavioral methods is desirable; if you have expertise in EMDR, DBT, or working with LGBTQI+ youth, even better! Healthy Mind Sacramento offers a flexible work schedule and complete administrative/scheduling support for you. This is your opportunity to niche-build within your specialty area, working with talented and unique neurodiverse clients. Continuing education stipend and eligibility for bonus pay after six months. Responsibilities: • Conduct individual therapy sessions with child, teen, and adult clients, many of whom are neurodiverse, with a caseload of at least 12 weekly clients. Hours flexible, some in-person, some remote • Document session content with notes within the electronic medical record • Participate in training and continuing consultation as needed to maintain an excellent standard of client care • Promote the practice and your services as a therapist via social media and other online platforms, in order to help grow your ideal client base and niche Qualifications: • Holder of a current CA license as a psychologist, LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT (Associates will be considered but under a different pay structure) • Passionate about helping kids and teens: we serve primarily tweens/ teens so enjoying this population is essential! • Motivated self-starter able to work independently • Experienced in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with kids/ teens with ADHD and autism • Computer proficient in Zoom and Gsuite and comfortable with new technologies • Eager to help grow the practice and your own niche • Carry own malpractice insurance (you will also be covered under the practice as well) • Additional specialty certifications or experience with specific evidence-based treatments are highly desirable!
