We are adding travel Labor and Delivery RN's. Must be available for immediate deployment for an assignment in Inglewood, CA! The Registered Nurse (RN) provides nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and standards of practice for a professional nurse. The RN is expected to perform all staff nurse activities and function as charge nurse when assigned. The RN maintains overall accountability/responsibility for assigned patients, even though some activities/tasks may be delegated to Technical Nurses, Patient Care Associates, and/or Sitters. Assignments are performed appropriately to age and developmental level of patients being served. RNs will be required to work MB, NBN, and attend deliveries. The LD RN will be required to work LD, WAC, LD PACU, and the LD OR. NICU/NICU SD will be required to work both areas. All Women Service team members will be required to float between units as needed to work within their scope of practice.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients in triage for preterm labor, active labor, rupture of waters, pregnancy complications, or co-existing issues
• Assist in maintaining pregnancy in antepartum mothers
• Fetal assessment and monitoring
• Maternal physical assessment(s)
• Manage patients in labor, including induction assistance, epidural assistance, pain management, education, and delivery support

Qualifications:

• California or Compact Nursing licensure
• At least two years experience as an L&D Nurse

• Preferably Travel experience as an L&D nurse
• BCLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications

• Fully vaccinated.
• Negative PPD within the last 90 days.
• Copy of shot records or most recent titers.

• Gross Weekly Pay $4690
• Taxed-$2898 Untaxed-$1792
• $69/hr OT $103.5/hr
• Blended rate of $130/hr
