Compensation

• Gross Weekly- $3200.00
• Taxed – $1688.00
• Stipend- $1512.00
• Hourly- $42.20
• Overtime- $63.30
• Blended hourly- $80.00
• On Call- $5.00
• Call Back- $8.00

Job Description

The Cath Lab RN provides professional nursing care with respect to the patient /guests expectations, cultural, spiritual and age specific individual needs as it relates to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care in compliance with the philosophy of the facility, standards of practice and regulations of governing bodies.

Responsibilities

• Must have basic knowledge of the job of a Cath Lab nurse as in preparing patients for catheterization, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantations.
• Must assist physician in the catheterization, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantations processes.
• Must keep patient calm and relaxed during procedure where they’re required to be awake.
• As a Cath Lab nurse, must administer appropriate medicine when needed.
• Must be able to perform proper after procedure care.
• Must check vital signs of the patient with proper care.
• Provide education about medications and care to the patients and families before the discharge.

Qualifications

• Current and valid NJ RN License
• Epic Experience Required
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• Fully Vaccinated
• Minimum two-years previous experience
