    Job Description

    The PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT TEAM is one of the most important roles for PXP, as they are the connection point between our clients, agency partners, and internal teams- knowing when to push and when to bend. As a PRODUCER, you will be the hub- a trusted, respected and critical asset to the entire team and process. Having excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle tasks easily and calmly.Your experience in the production process extends beyond the general operations of the job and carries into the execution of the work all while ensuring client satisfaction. Asking and ensuring we are proactively interrogating the ask up front to set the team up for success in design to delivery.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervise the creation of all production deliverables for assigned clients, through art buying, production, post, and fulfillment.
    • Manages scope of work throughout the life cycle of a job
    • Oversees the color management and creative retouching for all elements, manages internal briefs with retouching department and oversees the rounds of hard and soft proofs
    • Responsible for all production materials released from PXP
    • Maintain communication with internal clients, studio and vendors to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
    • Direct contact with outside vendors in order to ensure timely delivery of materials, quality / quantities, and logistical coordination of final regional deliverables of all deliverables
    • Requests resources for production working with Leads and Resource Management
    • Executes production workflows based on client needs, regardless of media channel
    • Manages monthly job reconciliation
    • Point of contact with agency partners and internal teams to plan and deliver projects
    • Reviews, bids, and manages scope of work throughout the life cycle of a job

    CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

    • Understanding of creative retouching and color space (print and digital)
    • Knowledge of industry printing trends and technological advances.
    • Highly detailed with flexibility with doing what is required to deliver the highest quality of production work
    • Ability to assess production needs (by having a working knowledge of production fundamentals and craft expectations)
    • Knowledge of inter-departmental workflows and resources.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment
    • Strong problem-solving ability. A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical-thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
    • Excellent collaboration skills with ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong presentation skills
    • Strong organization skills and ability to manage a great deal of detailed information
    • Flexibility, willingness to shift gears to meet project deadlines and client deliverables
    • 2+ years as a producer at an agency or production company
    • Highly proficient with MS Office software and Ability to navigate Adobe Creative Suite
    • Bachelors’ degree ​​​​​​​

    Additional Information

    LOCATIONS & COMMITMENTS:

    • Full-time role, hybrid, currently 2-3 days onsite.
    • Assuming in-person/in-office will resume as a hybrid approach to workweek
    • Overtime may be required to deliver on client projects and deadlines
