Job Title: Heat Treat Machine Operator

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Heat Treat Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations by operating and monitoring heat treatment equipment used to process metal components. This role is responsible for maintaining quality standards, performing inspections, and ensuring production requirements are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate heat treat and quenching equipment according to job specifications
- Load, position, and unload metal parts safely and efficiently
- Monitor machine performance, temperatures, fluid levels, and operating conditions
- Adjust machine settings as required to meet production and quality standards
- Perform Rockwell hardness testing on completed parts
- Inspect finished products for quality, defects, and specification compliance
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and gauges to verify dimensions
- Record production information and complete required documentation
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate production status and shift updates with supervisors and team members
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to read work orders, specifications, and production instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn heat treatment and hardness testing procedures
