General Responsibilities: Perform various operations to inspect cutters, set up and operate automatic/manual cutter grinding machine to sharpen a variety of milling cutters, maintain records, perform weekly heat treating process.

Detailed Responsibilities:

Work with high temperature furnace.

· Review paperwork instructions and blueprints for accuracy before grinding tools

· Be proficient in all measurement tools necessary for jobs required including but not limited to micrometer, blueprints, graphs, etc.

· Work with immediate Supervisor to plan smooth and efficient days maximizing both operator and machine time.

· Able to lift 40 lbs.

· Must be able to stand for long periods of time

· Other duties including but not limited to maintaining equipment and daily machine maintenance as well as assist in the general maintenance of the shop area and equipment instructed to keep a neat and orderly work area
