  • Responsibilities

    WHAT THE ROLE IS 

    The Total Rewards Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Total Rewards Team to help us achieve our goal of attracting, retaining, and rewarding the best people. You will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Compensation and Benefits, and partner closely the Total Rewards team and the broader HR Team. Specifically, you will be responsible for assisting with the support and administration of our global rewards programs to ensure efficiency, effectiveness and customer service to the organization.

    HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME? (RESPONSIBILITIES)

    • Maintain Employee Compensation and Benefits Data in ADP
    • Perform weekly, monthly, and quarterly data audits, leveraging internal ADP and external client reports, identifying any irregularities and troubleshooting with total rewards team/third parties as necessary
    • Code and process weekly/monthly vendor billing in a timely manner
    • Reconcile invoices regularly, and audit for potential errors in billing and overcharges
    • Administer the leave process for all non-union employees, to assist employees, keep accurate records, and maintain compliance.
      • Canada Leave Process – ROE Process
      • FMLA Source Process
    • Assist in audit request for benefits, retirement and compensation as needed
    • Complete union trigger reports and regular benefits reporting to company leadership
    • Assist in the annual open enrollment process
    • Provide administrative support to Human Resource Team to include preparation of various reports as requested and assistance with special projects
    • Process and maintain information with strict security safeguards and uncompromised confidentiality, in compliance with HIPAA, other regulations and company policy
    • Assist with administering projects and any future benefits offerings like well-being programs, and other responsibilities as assigned
    • Approach all workstreams with an eye for automation, recommending ways to create efficiencies and streamline where possible
    • Foster a positive and collaborative customer and team-oriented work environment

    WHO YOU ARE…

    • Associate's Degree in Business, Accounting, HR or related field, or may substitute equivalent years of applicable work experience.
    • Two (2) years job-related experience
    • Advanced computer software skills including Microsoft Suite products
    • Must possess problem-solving skills, attention to detail and follow through
    • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a very fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
    • Knowledge of principles and procedures for compensation, benefits and human resource information systems
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to think ahead with strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently, plan, coordinate and manage own work and solve problems independently
    • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment laws pertaining to employee compensation and benefits
    • Knowledge and understanding of all Labor Agreements pertaining to compensation and benefits administration
    • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and reports, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
    • Strong oral and written communication

    Valued but not Required Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business or related field
    • PHR/SPHR Certification
    • Experience working with HR systems and technology, ideally within ADP

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, and use of computer; reach with hands and arms.

    The salary range established for this position is $55,000-65,000. Actual starting pay may differ based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
