THIS ROLE IS AN OFFICE HYBRID POSITION, BASED OUT OF OUR LOUISVILLE OFFICE.
WHAT THE ROLE IS (DESCRIPTION)
Under the general supervision of a Senior Brand Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will support various project/brand needs across the Heaven Hill Family of Brands. The position will concentrate on implementation of Social Media programs, promotion and point of sale development, digital marketing, packaging projects, special events and public relations programs. The position will work collaboratively with the brand team, corporate communications, corporate events, creative services and agency partners to help meet or exceed the brands' overall sales and profit objectives.
HOW YOU WILL SPEND YOUR TIME? (RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Gain full understanding of the brand within the brand team portfolio/company and how they fit within our company strategy
- Contribute to shaping the strategic plans on the brands and executing them across sales channels (On-Premise, Off-Premise, E-Comm), Advocacy, PR Social/Digital touchpoints and Media Planning by working with relevant stakeholders
- Support the Brand Manager in delivering key brand campaigns which can be executed across sales channels
- Support the Brand Manager in the launch of new brands and new markets for existing brands
- Management of content development for Social Media in conjunction with agency partner, as well as tracking and reporting of aspects of online activity
- Liaise in internal departments and external agencies acting as a project manager across various marketing projects from packaging to promotional activities and presentations, ensuring communication needs and timelines are met
- Works with the sales team to develop sales promotion tools that extend and amplify national brand messages
- Support of in-market activations/events, including development, execution, reporting and supporting POS development
- Periodically monitors performance of managed brands/product programs to ensure it meets company objectives
- Utilize/analyze sales data and industry information to assist in determining marketing initiatives
WHO YOU ARE… (REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS)
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-3 years marketing or internship experience
- Distilled spirits industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques and sales control systems.
- Customer service experience
- Excellent critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to gather data from a wide variety of source, analyze and present findings in formats suitable for various audiences
- Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple competing priorities at once
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose communication for social media posts, project reports, program recaps, etc.
- High proficiency with all Microsoft Suite programs, along with social media platforms
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external contacts
- Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 10-15%
