    ****This is a paid internship that is part of Heaven Hill's Summer Internship Program (June-August). The role is an office / hybrid position, with the ideal candidate located in the Greater Louisville area as there could be travel required between Louisville and Bardstown.

    What the Role Is

    We are looking for an intern to join our Marketing team. Under the general supervision of the Associate Brand Manager, this position will work across several brand teams within the whiskey portfolio, supporting the associate and assistant brand managers on various project(s)/brand needs. The role will have a concentration on the coordination and project management of key segments of bigger promotional programs (i.e. coordinate photoshoots, coordination and development of point-of-sale or key presentations). The role will also help with cultivation of key Bourbon communities, event coordination and new product development support. This position will work collaboratively with the brand team, production teams, corporate communications and agency partners to create, manage and grow the Bourbon portfolio's overall sales and profit objectives.

    How You Will Spend Your Time?

    • Gain a full understanding of the brands within the whiskey team portfolio and how they fit with the entire company portfolio
    • Provide coordination and project management for photoshoots, social media efforts and other annual promotional activities
    • Contribute to creativity of product packaging, presentation, point-of-sale and promotional activities
    • Utilize/analyze sales data and industry information to assist in determining marketing initiatives
    • Collect and analyzing data to identify consumer trends, turning those insights into an easily digestible presentation for senior leaders
    • Research consumer opinions and marketing strategies and propose adjustments to current strategies based on those insights
    • Lead the management of special events in coordination with the Brand Team, Visitor Centers and Corporate Events Team
    • Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks

    Who You Are…

    • Currently pursuing a Marketing, Business, Management or related degree
    • Ability to translate complex research into common language
    • Familiarity with consumer psychology and buying habits
    • Ability to quickly learn and process information
    • Organization and time management skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks on deadline
    • Ability to interface in a professional manner with diverse groups
    • Desire and ability to work in a team environment, but also work independently to accomplish key tasks
