An Experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic who is self-motivated, reliable and can represent State Tractor off-site and on-site professionally. Experience within the heavy equipment industry and those who can work flexible schedules for service calls.

Responsibilities:

• #183; Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heavy and light equipment and vehicles.
• #183; Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
• #183; Perform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working order
• #183; Tags out of service issues and informs Supervisor.
• #183; Professional etiquette and Team player attitude
• #183; Travel is required to assist customers.
• #183; Ability to complete service calls efficiently and on time.

Required:

• #183; Mechanical Experience in the heavy equipment industry.
• #183; Background clearance to travel to Railroads.
• #183; Stable work history.
• #183; Valid DL and ability to obtain Medical Card.
• #183; Team player attitude.
• #183; Ability to pass a drug screening and lift test.
