Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test heavy machines to find mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic issues.

• Disassemble, repair, or replace broken engine parts, transmissions, and drive trains.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance like oil changes and filter replacements.

• Read technical manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• Trade school certification or 3 to 4 years of hands-on diesel experience.
