    Intonu is currently recruiting a new mechanic for our maintenance team. We are looking for an individual committed to being a part of our successful organization. The ideal candidate possesses a 'Get It Done' mindset and critical thinking. You will be required to submit to a drug test, background check, and an E-verify check upon offer of employment.


    JOB DESCRIPTION

    **Pay: $27.50-32.50/ hr paid weekly
    ** Schedule: M-F 0600a-0430p Hours will vary depending on circumstances.


    Summary/Objective

    You will play a key role in Intonu's operation. You will help keep our trucks, equipment, and shredders in working condition. Diagnose and complete repairs on heavy equipment and safely operate vehicles around the yard.

    Essential Duties

    • Diagnostic testing of equipment and formulating a plan of action.
    • Ensure parts conform to factory specifications by inspecting and verifying clearances and dimensions.
    • Testing to ensure repairs were successful.
    • Repair or replace electrical and hydraulic parts and perform engine repairs.
    • Familiar with the many types of heavy equipment maintenance tools.
    • Welding and torching experience preferred.

    Required Skills and Abilities
    • Verbal communication skills.
    • Able to follow up on parts and repairs status.
    • Time management and sense of urgency.
    • Critical thinking, analysis, and evaluation abilities.

    Education and Experience
    • 2-4 Years experience on heavy equipment. ** **

    Work environment
    • This job requires work in all types of weather. In and outside of the shop.
    • No long traveling. We may need to go somewhere local (20 mi radius) on very rare occasions.
    • Flexible hours and overtime are available.
    • Some Saturday work may be required.
    • All tools and equipment are provided.
    • Uniforms and safety equipment are provided.
    • Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
    • Must be able to work in awkward positions or cramped spaces.
    • Paid weekly every Friday.
    • Boots allowance replenished yearly.
    • Semi-annual reviews and bonuses.
    • Vacation and sick time will be given upon hiring and completing a probationary period. **
