Heavy Equipment Operator | Ironside Stone Works

Location: 20 minutes outside of Helena, MT (Base of the Sleeping Giant)

Compensation: $25.00 + DOE

The Role

Ironside Stone Works is seeking a skilled Operator to join our crew at the base of the Sleeping Giant.

In this role, you will be the backbone of our production. You’ll be responsible for operating heavy machinery to harvest stone, ensuring every piece meets our quality standards, and working closely with the Crew Lead to hit daily production goals. If you have a "get it done" attitude and a keen eye for detail, we want you on the mountain.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Efficiency: Operate medium and heavy equipment to extract and move stone while maintaining high efficiency.

Quality Control: Select and handle stone with care to ensure we deliver top-tier natural products to our clients.

Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with a crew of 3+ and maintain clear communication with leadership.

Safety First: Maintain a "safety-first" mindset, adhering to all MSHA regulations and keeping meticulous records.

Order Fulfillment: Assist in the organization and loading of stone to fulfill orders across various sites.

Job Requirements

Experience: 5+ years of experience in a production or quarry environment.

Machinery Skills: Proven experience operating medium and heavy-weight equipment.

Certifications: * Current MSHA Certification is required.

Physical Strength: Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 150 lbs in a rugged outdoor environment.

Attributes: High motivation, a keen eye for detail, and strong communication skills.
