    Heavy Equipment Operator job description

    We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of heavy equipment. In this position, you will be expected to follow safety protocols, perform routine maintenance checks, and ensure that the equipment is functioning properly. You will be required to work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, access roads, and Cell site locations. Pay will be based on experience.

    Heavy Equipment Operator Duties and Responsibilities

    Operate heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and loaders to move materials and earth

    Perform site work efficiently, grade, load material

    Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper functioning

    Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment

    Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and drawings to determine work requirements

    Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to ensure project success

    Operate equipment in a variety of weather conditions and terrains

    Complete daily logs and reports to track equipment usage and maintenance

    Perform other related duties as assigned by management

    Heavy Equipment Operator Requirements and Qualifications

    Experience in operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders with 3 years of experience

    Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to heavy equipment operation

    Physical strength and ability to operate equipment for extended periods of time

    Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

    Valid driver's license and clean driving record

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Completion of a heavy equipment operator training program or apprenticeship

    Experience working in construction, Telecom, or other related industries

    Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions

    Strong communication and problem-solving skills

    Strong work ethic

    Travel required
