Native Sun is hiring experienced Equipment Operators and Construction Laborers to support wet utility crews installing and repairing underground water, sewers, and storm systems on heavy civil projects at Fort Carson. This role is for skilled workers with underground utilities experience who can perform both equipment operation and laborer duties and who want steady work with a path toward lead or foreman roles.
Location : Fort Carson, Colorado
Starting Pay Range: $22-32 hourly, depending on experience, qualifications, and operating proficiency.

**Key Responsibilities: **
Install and assist with underground wet utilities (water, sewer, storm) to line and grade.
Perform trench work, pipe laying, setting structures, backfilling, and compaction with the crew.
Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and loaders to support underground utility installation and backfill operations.
Perform daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and safe startup/shutdown procedures in accordance with company and site requirements.
Work safely around heavy equipment and in/around trenches and excavations in all weather.
Use hand tools, small equipment, and basic layout tools (lasers/levels) to support production.
Follow direction from foremen and superintendents, communicate clearly with the crew, and support efficient completion of work. ****
