Job Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, loaders, skid-steers, and backhoes for foundation prep and sitework
• Perform excavation for footings, foundations, and utility trenches
• Grade and level sites to meet specifications and elevations
• Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and grade stakes
• Assist with drainage, backfill, and compaction work
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a crew

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of heavy equipment experience, with foundation/site prep focus preferred
• Strong knowledge of grading, trenching, and excavation for foundations
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and elevations
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA 10 certification
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
• Good communication and teamwork skills
