Previous operating experience is required, as is an understanding of construction methods, tools, and digging around utilities and equipment. You'll work with a close-knit team of other skilled laborers and tradesmen to bring construction plans to life. Benefits: • Competitive Wages • Health Insurance • Paid Time Off • Year-End Bonus • Boot Allowance after 60 Days Responsibilities: • Adhere to all directions from the foreman and work with other team members to complete tasks properly and efficiently • Comply with operating safety rules and regulations per OSHA safe practices • Prepare and maintain equipment for safe daily operations (i.e., fuel, grease, etc.) • Able to set shoring, calculate, and set proper grades and elevations • May perform laborer duties when required Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years experience operating heavy equipment in the wet utility field (excavators, backhoes, loaders) • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions such as extreme temperatures and rain • Must have transportation to and from job sites • OSHA 10 certification is a plus • Must pass a pre-employment drug test Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly
