    Position Overview

    We're seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our field team. This is a hands-on role supporting environmental remediation and demolition projects across Atlanta and the Southeastern U.S.

    You'll operate excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and skid steers, ensuring safe and efficient project execution. Travel is required for some projects, with per diem and lodging provided. **

    ****Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely operate excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers for environmental remediation, demolition, and site cleanup.

    • Perform soil excavation, grading, debris removal, material handling, and backfilling in accordance with project plans.

    • Follow all OSHA, EPA, and site-specific safety protocols to ensure compliance.

    • Conduct daily inspections of equipment, perform basic maintenance, and report any issues.

    • Collaborate with site supervisors, crews, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.

    • Travel as needed for out-of-town projects (company covers travel expenses and per diem).

    Preferred Experience:

    • 3+ years of experience operating heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, dozers, skid steers) on construction, demolition, or remediation sites.

    • A valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites across the Southeast.

    • Strong attention to safety and ability to work as part of a team.

    Work Schedule:

    • Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

    • Occasional weekend or night work as required by project demands
