    Masonry Solutions Midwest is a well-established masonry contractor based in Mt. Clemens, MI. We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment & Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. This position involves both field and shop work, maintaining a wide range of equipment used in masonry and construction. Benefits • Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) • Health, dental, and vision insurance • Paid time off and holidays • Company-provided service truck and tools for field work • Steady, year-round employment Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, forklifts, mixers, and trucks • Maintain and repair small gas-powered equipment: compactors, power saws, generators, trowels, etc. • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency field repairs • Troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical issues, and small engines • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs • Ensure all equipment is safe and job-ready Qualifications: • Minimum 4 years of experience in heavy equipment and small engine repair • Proficient in troubleshooting diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and gas-powered equipment • Ability to work independently in the field and in a team environment in the shop • Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred but not required) • Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset Compensation: $30+ Hourly
