We are searching for a Heavy Line Diesel Technician to help our shop’s customers resolve issues with their vehicles’ performance, structure, appearance, and functionality. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating with customers about their vehicles’ performance and maintenance history. You’ll be tasked with inspecting mechanical components, systems, and parts to determine their necessary fixes. You’ll also maintain repair shop equipment. Responsibilities: • Perform in-depth maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles to ensure peak performance and compliance with safety standards • Diagnose complex mechanical and engine issues; repair or replace defective components efficiently • Conduct comprehensive inspections to detect wear, damage, or potential failures, and recommend preventative solutions • Maintain detailed service records, including labor, parts, and diagnostics • Communicate clearly with customers and team members, explaining diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance recommendations in a professional manner Qualifications: • Skilled in diagnosing and repairing complex diesel vehicle issues with efficiency and precision • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work • Excellent communication and customer service skills; able to explain technical issues clearly • Must possess a complete set of personal tools suitable for heavy-duty repair tasks • ASE Certification preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States Compensation: $22 - $30 hourly
