    A leading construction and infrastructure enterprise
    is actively seeking a skilled
    Heavy Truck Mechanic
    to join its team in Bryan, Texas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is passionate about keeping heavy-duty vehicles and equipment running safely and efficiently.

    You’ll be working on a diverse fleet that includes
    ready-mix trucks, dump trucks, tractors, and pneumatic trailers, supporting operations that help build communities across the region.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of
      heavy diesel trucks and trailers.

    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, suspension, and brake systems.

    • Use technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to guide complex repairs.

    • Communicate with drivers and team leads regarding vehicle condition reports and repair updates.

    • Operate tools and equipment including welders, hoists, and lifting devices in a safe, responsible manner.

    • Maintain organized workspaces and accurately document all maintenance activities.

    • Perform oil changes, transmission repairs, brake work, suspension adjustments, and other general maintenance.

    • Travel to field locations as needed using company-provided service vehicles.

    • Ensure full compliance with
      DOT, OSHA, MSHA, EPA, and company safety standards.

    • Participate in a team-focused environment, assisting others and maintaining a professional, respectful attitude.

    • Complete other mechanical duties as assigned.

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Previous experience maintaining and repairing
      heavy diesel trucks and trailers.

    • Technical school certification or relevant trade training is preferred.

    • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

    • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

    • Own set of hand tools, air tools, and select specialty tools.

    • Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and overtime.

    • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and climb in and out of trucks and equipment regularly.

    • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Regular walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.

    • Ability to grasp tools and perform fine manual work.

    • Exposure to outdoor elements, high-traffic shop areas, fumes, and changing weather conditions.

    • Use of required
      PPE
      per safety protocols.
