We provide secure, high-quality language solutions in more than 80 spoken and signed languages for USCIS and other federal agencies.
We are seeking Hebrew Over-the-Phone Interpreters (OPI) to support our USCIS contract. Hebrew is a priority Middle Eastern language, required for immigration, asylum, and legal proceedings.
Responsibilities
Provide real-time Hebrew ↔ English telephonic interpretation for USCIS interviews, hearings, and official proceedings.
Deliver interpretation with accuracy, impartiality, and professionalism.
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with USCIS/DHS standards.
Handle both scheduled assignments and urgent/surge interpretation requests.
Participate in training, compliance refreshers, and quality assurance reviews.
Qualifications
Native or near-native fluency in Hebrew and English.
2+ years of professional interpreting experience (immigration, asylum, legal, medical, or government preferred).
Knowledge of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
Strong telephone communication skills; ability to remain accurate under pressure.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 federal clearance.
