Job Description:

Hedy Holmes Staffing is seeking a Compliance Specialist to perform a variety of functions related to HMDA data information collection and reporting, as well as consumer loan monitoring activities. They will maintain regulatory bank compliance training records, while creating and maintaining department files and reports. Additionally, assisting the Compliance Department as needed.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compliance Specialist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prep concise and accurate documents.
• Learn and understand bank policies to continuously apply newly learned information.
• Create and maintain Compliance Department files and reports.
• Monitor consumer loans.
• Assist Compliance Department.

Education:

Associates Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in financial institutions or related industry experience (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in various PC applications including MS Office Suite.
• Must understand how to prioritize work effectively and remain focused and organized when faced with the pressure of continuous deadlines and requests.
• Is a self-starter who can work effectively without direct supervision and demonstrates teamwork in the daily workflow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
