FULL TIME EXPERIENCED LITIGATION PARALEGAL/ LITIGATION SECRETARY
Job Description
A growing PLAINTIFF'S EMPLOYMENT & PERSONAL INJURY law firm in Las Vegas and Los Angeles is seeking a full-time, EXPERIENCED LITIGATION PARALEGAL/ LITIGATION SECRETARY, for its Los Angeles office , who can meticulously handle all aspects of personal injury and employment from pre-litigation to trial. We are looking for a motivated team player with positive attitude who is able to perfectly communicate with our litigation team which is consisted of five lawyers.
The ideal candidate would have experience with the followings:
• At least five(5+) years of experience in plaintiff litigation firm as a paralegal or secretary
• Drafting Summons and Complaint, Knowledge of working with CEB legal forms
• Capable of filing Minor's Compensation
• Preparing shells for responding and propounding discovery
• Handling the entire Calendaring matters ( Federal and State Court) is a MUST.
• Preparing trial binders and documents
• Summarizing Deposition Transcripts
• Summarizing Medical Records in complex cases
• Filing in California & Nevada State and Federal Court ( Proficiency in Federal filing & CA State is a MUST)
• Be able to handle at least 100 cases in litigation with three other lawyers for the purpose of calendaring
• Complete Proficiency w/Computers is a MUST(Adobe Pro, Office, Excel, Outlook, ...) our office is fully paperless and cloud based.
• Preparing and serving subpoenas in federal and State court
• Court-call Arrangement/ ECF filing
• Spanish speaker is a Plus.
