Helio is hiring a highly motivated Acquisitions Manager to support our development team on new construction projects. The Acquisitions Manager will be responsible for assisting and collaborating with the team's Project Managers. This position will have the opportunity to gain broad exposure to the affordable housing development industry and directly impact the successful growth of the company. An ideal candidate is bright and has excellent interpersonal and organizational skills who takes the initiative to follow through and "get it done". This position is based out of our main office in Culver CIty Los Angeles and may require some travel throughout the Los Angeles area. Essential duties of the position: Provide general project management support to the Project Manager in relation to new construction projects in acquisition. Review contracts, Perform analytical and transactional tasks within the acquisition, entitlement/land use approval, and permitting processes, including coordinating consultants and architects, document management, and market research.
