Hvac Service Technician
HVAC/R Service Technicians provide diagnostics, service, repair, maintenance & installation for various brands of light commercial HVAC/R equipment. Our technicians make quality repairs in a timely manner, maintain their equipment to the highest standards, and build trusting relationships with clients. The base pay for this position ranges from $25 to $39/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Responsibilities: WHAT HELIOS NEEDS FROM YOU: • **** Provide the highest level of professionalism, communication, and integrity to our customers • Diagnose, repair, and calibrate a wide variety of equipment • Be available to work nights, weekends, and on-call to service the emergency needs of our customers • Maintain stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle • Participate in company-provided training opportunities Qualifications: WHAT SETS YOU APART: • Universal EPA certification • Valid driver’s license • Knowledge of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills • Basic computer skills for iPad/cell phone communication and documentation • Minimum of 2 years of service experience in commercial HVAC systems • Refrigeration experience is strongly preferred Compensation: $25 - $39 hourly
