    Job Description

    Helios Quantitative Research is seeking to add a Product Specialist to its research and client support department.  This person will work under the direction of the Director of Research and VP of Client Experience to communicate with existing clients, home offices and strategic relationships.

    Helios is a technology enabled service provider who is disrupting the financial services space with our quantitative investment strategies aimed to challenge Modern Portfolio Theory and seek to remove as much emotion as possible from investing.  Founded in 2016, Helios Quantitative Research was created to equip Financial Advisors with new and relevant tools that drastically improve their client’s asset management experience and challenge the old-guard legacy providers as well as the emerging robos of Silicon Valley.  Helios brings institutional wealth management to the retail brokerage.  Today, we have grown to influencing over 800 Financial Advisors, created proprietary investment software and have added subsidiaries that support our mission of disrupting the status quo of our industry.

     

    Responsibilities:

    ·         Become highly knowledgeable of Helios investment models, product offerings, tools and materials in order to assist with client education, client requests and assist with internal operations

    ·         Serve as the first line of technology support for our portfolio management tools and monitor the chat for questions

    ·         Manage the submission of content to our strategic partner compliance departments

    ·         Manage our document storage systems both internally and on client facing websites

    ·         Support senior individuals with client requests

    ·         Other duties as assigned; we expect this position to grow in responsibilities as you become familiar with our company

    Preferred Qualifications:

    ·         Bachelors degree in finance, mathematics, economics or the like

    ·         Salesforce Experience

    ·         Series 7 or 65

    Skills Required:

    ·         Bachelors Degree

    ·         1-2 years of client facing experience in an investment product environment

    ·         Experience in investment product sales or support role / experience in support of an Investment Advisor

    ·         Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment under little direct oversight

    ·         Proficiently with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    ·         Highly organized

    ·         Professional communication skills, in person, virtual and written; professional and clear delivery of sophisticated topics in a manner that is easy to understand and follow

    ·         Relationship building skills with the ability to build trust with clients and colleagues by demonstrating integrity and professional competence consistently

    ·         Self-motivated problem solver
