Job Description

Hellas Sports Construction, a national sports construction and synthetic surfaces company, is seeking a TRADE SHOW MANAGER. This position is responsible for the project management, organization, planning and on-site presentation for all national and local tradeshows. In addition, the role provides broad marketing and sales support for Hellas Construction. This position is responsible for process development and documentation for both the Sales & Marketing departments. There is a networking and training element to this role, working within Marketing at Hellas, and requires constant communication with the Marketing team, Director of Marketing, Business Development Managers and outside vendors. Position reports to the Director of Sales for day-to-day direction and to perform the following:

JOB SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, schedule and project manage all tradeshows and accompanying materials and displays.

• Coordinate, package and ship samples, giveaways, etc. to tradeshows
• As part of the show management, work with the Travel Manager to organize travel for appropriate sales team/trade show staff.
• Ensure maximum exposure at show by generating interest, by planning activities during the show, in the booth and at the event. Plan promotional events and activities surrounding the tradeshows such as project tours.
• Plan and execute promotional events surrounding the tradeshows such as project tours, dinners, parties and cocktail hours.
• Plan press releases, social media activities and MailChimp email marketing campaigns surrounding tradeshows and events.
• Ensure and coordinate prompt lead distribution after the show. 
• Evaluate ROI by tracking past tradeshow leads for all shows, and re-register for the following year as needed.

Manage Sponsorships and Partnerships

• Ensure Hellas Construction receives all contractual benefits provided by sponsorship/partnership agreements

Manage MailChimp Email Marketing Campaigns..

Plan and execute regular email marketing campaigns, coordinating with Graphic Design Team for asset/art development

Maintain and grow email database, ensuring all leads captured at tradeshows are input into MailChimp system

Ship sample packages, literature and various promotional items to BDMs, as needed.

Work closely with the sales team on program development and implementation. 

Prepare and manage timelines for marketing projects.

Analyze data to determine campaign efficiency.

Assist staff with research projects including researching potential endorsements, contact names, industry trends, or other assigned subjects.

Plan other marketing or corporate events as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Admin
• 4-6 years of experience in planning trade show event marketing, sports enthusiast a plus
• Ability to perform to a high level of expectations and maintain quality of work while under the stress and pressure of quick-turn projects and deadlines
• Ability to take initiative and tackle projects with minimal direction, while being flexible in managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-driven, positive approach to problem solving; ability to excel in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Excellent presentation, communication, and listening skills

THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE ABOUT 40-50% TRAVEL.
