Intake Clinician - Full Time - Virtual 

HelloHero has delivered online therapy and wellness services to children across the US since 2017. We’re embarking on a new business division and expanding our outreach to all ages. We are looking for a full-time INTAKE CLINICIAN.

As an INTAKE CLINICIAN, you will work directly with clients and conduct initial intakes, and schedule counseling sessions with our providers. 

This is a full-time, salaried position. General hours are Monday through Friday 1:30pm-9:30pm with some occasional weekend hours as needed 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:  

• Completes intake assessment for all clients referred for counseling, or counseling and med-management

• Performs evidenced based assessments and biopsychosocial in compliance with internal process 

• Determines client diagnosis 

• Determines best fit for clients and assigns therapists accordingly

• Make outside referrals as appropriate 

• Schedules appointments for Therapists and Nurse Practitioners. 

• Completes reminder calls for all scheduled intakes and troubleshoots initial barriers with client

• Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

• Master's Degree in Behavioral Health Field

• Active New York State License as an LCSW or LMHC

• Two (2) years of experience in a mental health setting

• Experience diagnosing mental health disorders

• Experience completing  thorough intake assessments

• Experience in risk assessment

• Bilingual in Spanish/English, preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Computer proficiency, solid typing skills

• Background working with various age groups, ethnicities, and diverse populations

• Crisis management experience
