Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - REMOTE - Part Time

HelloHERO has delivered online therapy and wellness services to children across the US since 2017. We’re embarking on a new business division and expanding our outreach to all ages. We are looking for a passionate PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER who is committed to clinical excellence and licensed in New York. 

The Community division will be supporting a large client base in NYC, serving over half of a million people. 

As a PSYCHIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER, you will support individuals and their families dealing with various issues, from workplace stress to family problems and mental health concerns. This is an opportunity to positively impact people’s lives while WORKING FROM HOME in a collaborative environment.

Part-time with the ability to move to full-time over time.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Perform complete initial psychiatric evaluation on the patient to determine a diagnosis and develop a plan of care including medication prescription, if indicated
• Revise, prescribe, and implement therapeutic regimen using an interdisciplinary approach
• Monitor patient progress and provide collaborative treatment and communication with the treatment team
• Provide timely documentation of each encounter with a patient
• Ensure patient/family education regarding the clinical condition and relevant aspects of care
• Work in collaboration with treatment team members to ensure the quality of care and consideration of services

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

• Licensed as an Advance Practiced Nurse in the State of New York
• ANCC National Board Certification in Psychiatry- PMHNP Certification
• Prescriptive Authority
• DEA license
• Background working with various age groups
• Crisis management experience
• EAP experience preferred
• Currently credentialed with EmblemHealth OR Beacon Healthcare is a plus
