    Anticipated Contract Length/End Date: **** January 2025 - Maternity Leave Cover with possibility to extend and/or convert to full time ; mainly remote/in office once per week

    Our client in the executive search firm and consulting industry is seeking a Social Media Associate Manager with experience across various components of social media including storytelling, content creation, and community management. The chosen candidate needs to understand the nuances of different social media platforms and know how to leverage each effectively. With a strategic mindset, the selected person will excel at crafting engaging social media copy and executing campaigns with excellence.

    What you will do:

    • Develop and maintain a strong social presence for designated market units.
    • Bring client brand voice to life through engaging social media copy.
    • Spearhead social components of marketing campaigns and event activations.
    • Guide editorial calendar and create social content under tight deadlines.
    • Monitor social media landscape and stay up to date on latest features and platform functionality.
    • Report on campaign performance and optimize tactics based on KPIs.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to uphold brand quality and compliance.
    • Manage the firm's global presence on social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
    • Create various social media campaigns for events, thought leadership, DE&I initiatives, and more.
    • Create the strategy and execution of paid and organic LinkedIn campaigns.
    • Collaborate with the web team for QA/testing of all new functionality and enhancements to the corporate website across multiple environments, browsers, and devices.
    • Provide project management support for large-scale web projects and website redesigns when needed.
    • Provide additional support when needed to enter website content across different language websites in Sitecore CMS.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
    • 5 - 7 + years of marketing and communications experience, with focus on social media.
    • Strong understanding of social strategy and execution for campaigns and events.
    • Experience overseeing content creation and community management.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
    • Ability to work independently within a virtual team and collaboratively in person during team settings.
    • Proficiency with LinkedIn, Twitter and other social platforms.
    • Strong curiosity and up to date in global and national events, trends and news.
    • Understanding and empathy of how current global events affect social media business strategies, goals and planning.
    • Positive attitude and team contributor.
    • Should be self-motivated, creative, and eager to contribute to the team's success.

    Additional Information

    Open to local Chicago or commuting distance to Chicago office only.
