Overview:
Butterfly Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and service-driven Help Desk Specialist to provide comprehensive technical support to internal users. This role involves responding to support requests, diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware, software, mobile devices, and general IT systems—both in person and remotely. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong communication, troubleshooting, and multitasking abilities across all levels of an organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain desktops, laptops, and networked devices including user account setups.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
Provide technical guidance and support to users for system tools and business applications.
Acquire and apply knowledge of internal business systems to support day-to-day operations.
Collaborate with staff at all levels to research issues and implement effective IT solutions.
Perform hardware repair, upgrades, and malware/virus recovery.
Deliver responsive help desk support via ticketing system, phone, and on-site assistance.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 5 years in a hands-on IT support or help desk role within a dynamic work environment.
Strong proficiency with computer hardware and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a standard office setting and may involve occasional lifting of equipment or travel to different workstations.
