About the Role:

Vision Life LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Burbank, CA. Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and daily living support to individuals with developmental or physical disabilities

Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks

Support community integration by accompanying clients to appointments, activities, and outings

Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately

Administer medications and follow health and safety protocols as directed

Foster independence by teaching life skills and encouraging self-advocacy

Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required

Prior experience as a DSP, caregiver, home health aide, or in a related field preferred

Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

Ability to pass a background check and health screening

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills

Genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting independence
