About the Role:

Compost Connection in Grandview, MO is looking for a motivated Helper/Thrower to join our yard waste team! This is a hands-on, outdoor role where you'll play a key part in keeping our community clean and green. If you love physical work and making a difference in your neighborhood, this is the job for you.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the collection and loading of yard waste materials including leaves, branches, and grass clippings

Throw and haul yard debris onto collection vehicles in a safe and efficient manner

Work alongside drivers to complete daily residential and commercial routes

Follow all safety protocols when lifting, throwing, and handling yard waste

Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the truck and at job sites

Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure timely route completion

Time in BEFORE 6:15am. No set time off. The day is done when all routes are complete.

Overtime in the busy seasons. We work year-round.

Requirements:

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor in all weather conditions

Reliable, punctual, and able to report for early morning shifts

Strong work ethic with a team-first attitude

Previous experience in waste collection, landscaping, or labor is a plus

Ability to keep up with a fast-paced, physically demanding route schedule

Must be able to stand, walk, and throw debris for extended periods throughout the shift
