Pediatric Physical Therapist (Pt)
Helping Hands Therapy Services, PLLC is a small, privately-owned company providing pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy services in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake. We currently provide Early Intervention services and outpatient services both in the clinic and home/community to children from birth to 21. We are looking for a flexible, dynamic, and innovative Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Early Intervention (EI) and outpatient Team. We have an immediate need for Early Intervention which can also be split in our new outpatient clinic in Chesapeake, VA. We have Full-time, Part-time, and flexible PRN positions available. We prefer at least 2 years of experience and early intervention experience; however, new graduates are welcome to apply! We offer a mentorship program for all therapists new to Early Intervention and to our new grads! We are also incorporating various modalities and holistic therapies into our therapy programs. Come join an amazing and growing team of therapists where you will be supported professionally and provided opportunities for growth! • NEW GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY! • We have a mentorship program for all therapists new to early intervention as well as new graduates Responsibilities: • Participating in group physical therapy in non-traditional therapy settings (motor skills groups) • Evaluating and providing treatment for pediatric clients in an outpatient clinic setting • Documentation of all evaluations and treatment sessions • Treating pediatric clients in the 0-3 setting in the home or community for early intervention • Treating outpatients in the home, community or clinic using various modalities • Participating in an interdisciplinary team to complete assessments for children in need of early intervention services • Complete mentorship and training with a seasoned physical therapist to ensure competency in early intervention setting Qualifications: • Previous pediatric experience is preferred but not required • Physical Therapy licensing is necessary • Ability to obtain Virginia Early Intervention Certification • CPR • Must have a background check Compensation: $70,000 - $84,500 yearly
