Job Summary New agency seeking passionate outpatient therapists, LCSW or LMHC, to assess, diagnose, and treat mental and emotional disorders of individuals through observation, interview, and psychological tests. The therapist will complete intake assessments and determine proper treatment for clients. Ideally offering a continuum of care for individuals in distress or maladjustment to understand their problems through their knowledge of case history, interviews with patients, and theory to achieve healing. Following rules and ethics accordingly and fulfilling assessments and routine progress notes. Participating in treatment team meetings, assisting in care coordination and responding to crisis calls as needed. Traditional work hours, comfortable office space and options to work remote. Salary pay.

Responsibilities

Perform intake assessments

Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children

Create individualized treatment plans for each client

Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments

Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan

Perform regular wellness checks

Adhere to all facility and licensing standards

Qualifications

Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or similar field

Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized
