• $235 to $245 per hour clinic rate
• $90 to $105 per hour on call coverage
• 40 hours per week clinic schedule

About the Opportunity
Allmed Staffing is recruiting Board Certified Hematology Oncology Physicians to provide services for the Department of Veterans Affairs at the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This position supports the VA oncology service providing specialty care for veterans. Physicians work alongside an established oncology team with nursing, infusion services, and multidisciplinary clinical support.
Schedule
• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM clinic hours
• Evening call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM
• Rotating weekend call coverage
• Federal holidays observed
Clinical Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow up care
• Develop oncology treatment plans and monitor therapy
• Perform bone marrow biopsies and related procedures
• Provide inpatient consults when required
• Participate in tumor boards and case review meetings
Work Environment
• VA specialty oncology clinic
• Established oncology nursing and infusion teams
• Integrated VA electronic medical record system
• Collaborative multidisciplinary care model
Minimum Qualifications
• MD or DO degree
• Board Certification in Hematology and Oncology through the American Board of Internal Medicine
• Active unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• DEA registration
Preferred Experience
• Prior VA or federal healthcare experience
• Experience in academic or hospital oncology programs
• Experience working in multidisciplinary cancer care teams
