    OPPORTUNITY

    PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide on-site healthcare services for a Federally supported client in Louisville, KY.

    Position Type: Contract – Onsite (Part-Time to Full-Time Options)

    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join the medical team at the Medical Center in Louisville, KY. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to our nation's veterans in a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide outpatient consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for hematologic and oncologic conditions.
    • Conduct a minimum of 1 clinic session (8 hours) per week, up to 3 sessions per week as needed.
      • Each clinic session accommodates up to 25 patient appointments.
      • One clinic day must be scheduled on Friday.
    • Deliver continuity of care, ensuring new patient appointments occur within 28 days or sooner when clinically indicated.
    • Provide inpatient consultation/coverage on an as-needed basis.
    • Participate in tumor boards, case conferences, and clinical committees (approximately 184 hours annually).
    • Collaborate with hematology/oncology staff, maintaining high standards of care and clinical excellence.

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO degree.
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
    • Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory.
    • Eligible for credentialing and privileging
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team.

    Preferred Experience

    • Prior experience with military members or federal healthcare system.
    • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems

    Schedule

    • Onsite at Louisville, KY.
    • Minimum: 1 clinic day per week (Friday required).
    • Maximum: 3 clinic days per week, based on patient demand.
