Overview Hembree Bell Law is seeking an experienced Divorce and Family Law Attorney Litigator with a deep passion for guiding families through complex property disputes during divorce and custody cases. The ideal candidate is adept at courtroom litigation but recognizes that families benefit from crafting property agreements and parenting arrangements outside of formal proceedings. Responsibilities: • Develop case strategies and locate applicable rules of procedure to support those strategies. • Exhibit confidence and competence while representing clients in highly contested family law cases within the courtroom. • Act as a skilled "dealmaker" to help families reach creative solutions for property and custody disputes outside of formal litigation. • Possess comprehensive knowledge of property division, custody modifications, parenting plans, the Texas Family Code (TFC), and the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure (TRCP). • Assist clients in evaluating the value of pursuing legal action over minor disputes, demonstrating pragmatism and cost-effectiveness. • Thrive in an environment that balances serious work with a lighthearted approach, embodying professionalism, intelligence, integrity, and teamwork. Qualifications: • Minimum of 4 years of experience taking ownership of clients' contested family law cases, including discovery, pleadings, motions, collaboration, mediation, pretrial hearings, motion hearings, and trials. • Active Texas law license (ideal for someone relocating back to Texas). • Exemplary professional demeanor and outstanding problem-solving skills. • Stellar communication habits to effectively engage with clients and colleagues. Compensation: $110,000+ yearly DOE + incentive-based compensation
