Job Description
This position can be based in our Boston office or remotely from NYC (coworking space with other NYC team members).
College Fashionista is seeking a full-time Managing Editor to oversee all content and daily operations of the brand’s site and Editorial Fellowship, growing traffic and serving as the guardian of the brand’s voice and editorial direction. This position requires someone who is a top-notch creative and technical editor who is also adept at - and interested in - the day-to-day operations of running a content site. Supervising the brand’s Editorial Fellows and program, this person will see all content through from beginning to end, ensuring it meets the brand’s editorial standards and brand voice, and will be charged with significantly growing the site’s traffic and engagement.
This position is perfect for someone highly entrepreneurial who is energized by the idea of getting to own and manage all content operations for a site, thinking holistically about the brand and the many moving parts and processes that go into building and growing a flourishing content site. A creative and nimble culture, a passionate community of writers, ownership of site direction for a brand entering a new chapter after its recent acquisition by Her Campus Media, and sky’s-the-limit opportunity for growth make this an ideal opportunity for a talented and capable self-starter interested in a meaty, meaningful role at a profitable, 10-year-old female-owned-and-operated company.
