Job Description

• Provide exceptional user-facing customer support for student contributor members, including conducting one-to-one communication, developing training materials, maintaining documentation, and integrating new tools
• Spearhead the launch and communication of new features and updates to our internal and external user communities
• Own market and product research initiatives and present data-based recommendations to product and engineering teams
• Collaborate with Product Manager to scope, prioritize, QA, and implement new features and improvements for HerCampus.com
• Monitor, document, define, and prioritize site bugs and performance issues, leveraging both analytical skills and deep understanding of the user community
• Research, vet, and help implement new third-party technologies, tools, processes and/or vendors for department- or company-wide adoption
• Act as an evangelist for third-party tools - assisting with training, onboarding, and support as needed
• Liaise with our editorial, marketing and events teams to digitally promote content, in-person events, or other initiatives on HerCampus.com
• Provide ad-hoc product and operations support to the wider team

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant product, support, or operations role
• Ideally, experience with any of the following: digital media, content management systems, open source software, e-commerce
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Tech savvy with a willingness to learn
• Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into meaningful insights
• Self-motivated entrepreneurial thinker with a problem-solving mindset
• Genuine passion for Her Campus and our mission

The Associate Product Manager will report directly to our Product Manager and collaborate widely across the company.
