As a Sales Associate, you will have one main objective - to create a memorable shopping experience for the customer while helping them on their journey to a more natural way of living. Here at Herbally Anointed we are searching for those who are passionate about what we stand for and who have the desire and drive to help our customer through their experience. Whether assisting a customer with choosing the right bath and body product they're looking for, making product recommendations built around conversations you have with the customer, creating a customized tea bag based on their desired requirements, or assisting customers on which herb(s) will help them achieve their desired result, you will be a liaison for their journey/experience. If you aren't a Certified Herbalist or an expert in the health and beauty space, don't worry, Herbally Anointed will give you the structured training, guidance, and resources you need to better serve our customers and grow your knowledge around herbalism and all the benefits it has to offer.

Another key objective of the position would be to assist customers in their purchase of natural gemstones (stones and beads), handcrafted jewelry and several other related products. Having prior knowledge of gemstones isn't required as we will teach you what each stone (and bead) is and how to identify them.

Lastly, throughout the year, Herbally Anointed will be at several events in the area and would ask that you have the ability to attend and work the events (markets, craft shows, vendor events, etc.). As the event schedule is planned, you will receive the details well in advance so that you may plan accordingly. The events are fun, fast-paced at times, and will be mainly held outdoors, but we will make sure that you're comfortable in the environment.

YOUR ROLE AT HERBALLY ANOINTED:

• Form lasting relationships with each customer.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of the benefits each product has to offer.
• Advise customer on herbs and their benefits and tailor your advice around how the customer wants to improve themselves (i.e. better skin, needs help with migraines, aid in digestion, etc.)
• Occasionally set up displays and arrange merchandise to highlight particular products and promotional events.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory, product and/or customer issues.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

• Must be able to lift up to 45lbs, occasionally while on a stepstool, with or without accommodation.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing or sitting, recurring bending, crouching, or similar activities.
