  • Responsibilities

    W R Systems, Ltd. has a potential need for a logistician to provide acquisition logistics technical support to the NSWC PHD Surveillance Radar Division, including a wide range of technical services in support of Logistics disciplines during all phases of life-cycle support of naval surveillance radars.

     

     

    Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

    • PerformS a variety of ILS functions.
    • Coordinates and interfaces with NAVSEA IWS, NSWC PHD, other government activities, and various contractor offices for:

    o   meetings

    o   program schedules

    o   milestones

    o   product deliveries

     

     

    Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:    

    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Navy (or other military) school.
    • Eight (8)+ years of experience with acquisition technical logistics work specifically, establishing and maintaining logistics products for in-service combat system sensor or weapons. 
    • Possess ability to read and utilize drawings.
    • Ability to communicate well with peers and shipboard personnel. 
    • Experience in multiple elements of logistics and experience with establishing and maintaining logistics products for in-service combat system sensors or weapons.  
    • Must possess good computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
    • Proficient with CDMD-OA, and other logistics tools (e.g., TDMIS, CDMD-OA, PARTS, ERP, ICAPS, WEBFLIS, OneTouch, JETDAS).
    • Knowledge of logistics management principles, concepts, policies, regulations, common naval support programs and systems, and life cycle support requirements.
    • Radar equipment experience a plus.

     

     

     

    ACTIVE SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED.
