    We are seeking licensed life insurance agents in a work from home capacity to sell final expense insurance over the phone on behalf of the number 1 ranked carrier in the country. The position is hourly plus commission and includes benefits. Responsibilities: This job entails responding to warm leads by calling, texting, and emailing individuals who have inquired for coverage. Our goal is to identify insurance needs while simultaneously determining the applicant's medical eligibility for the insurance product by reviewing a few, simple health questions. As such, the following skills and responsibilities are necessary: • Attunement: The ability to demonstrate empathy and understand the need we are being asked to solve (e.g. is the applicant seeking coverage for cremation or traditional funeral arrangements) • Buoyancy: Showing adaptability while maintaining a positive mental attitude in the midst of challenging circumstances (e.g. maintain composure and professionalism even when facing cantankerousness or outright hangups) • Clarity: Fulfilling the duty of an educator to pursue understanding, apart from a personal agenda (e.g. ensure the caller fully understands his or her options and is making an informed decision) Qualifications: • Basic computer proficiency (word processing, resizing windows, sending email, managing files) • Life Insurance License through the Texas Department of Insurance • Previous sales experience • Bilingual in English and Spanish • Must be a resident of Texas and located in Texas Compensation: $15 per hour base
