    Job Description

    WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE TWO PEOPLE FOR THIS POSITION, IDEALLY ONE IN BOTH OUR LOCATIONS: WILMINGTON, DE & PRESTON, MD.

    ABOUT YOU –

    You are aspiring administrative professional who has or wants relevant experience in the financial planning field. You have at least two years in a customer service representative or administrative assistant position. What you want is an opportunity to be recognized as an integral member of a professional team. Most importantly, you want to be able to apply your many talents and have the opportunity to learn new skills and areas of the financial planning business. You like challenges and learning new skills. You want to be part of the team but also want to work independently and “take charge” of your delegated tasks & responsibilities. You are a problem solver, are tenacious when it comes to follow through and details rarely slip through your grasp. You are proficient in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel and may also have mastered many other industry related programs & databases in your previous positions/experiences. Last but not least, you have a positive attitude, are a logical thinker, independent worker, and self-starter with excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain organization while meeting various deadlines! You have a willingness to do whatever it takes to provide top tier service to our clients. You may hold (or have held) a Series 6 or 7 FINRA registration (or you would consider obtaining it within 2 years.) You are technically savvy with phone, computer and CRM systems and have a typing speed of at least 40 WPM.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES -

    • Provide manufacturing / preparation support for client meetings
    • Provide investment research as requested
    • Provide support in managing “business in motion” (new business paperwork, processing & workflows)
    • Assist in maintaining client records and compliance support documentation
    • Master our CRM to assist us in maintaining our reporting systems related to clients, assets & production
    • Provide support in development of investment proposals, & other admin. support functions as needed
